Bill was instrumental in helping the Library secure major gifts for the Circle Reading Room and for starting the campaign to support the LHS-Chicago renovation. Vo receives 2015 Janice Watkins Award

JWA EmblemHenry Vo, library assistant in the Circulation Department, is the 2015 recipient of UIC’s Janice Watkins Award.

The Janice Watkins Award recognizes a Civil Service employee’s outstanding work performance and excellent community service.

The design for the award is based on three interlocking components signifying the unity of students, faculty, and staff that make up the whole of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Each individual group is an inseparable and integral part of UIC, and the circular design reinforces this idea.

Henry will be honored for this award at the annual all-campus employee recognition award ceremony on Tuesday, November 10, at the UIC Forum.
