Introducing Rafael Luis Gonzalez-Smith

Rafa2Rafael Luis Gonzalez-Smith was born on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 2:36 p.m.  At birth, he was 5 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches long.

Isabel reported the following:

Rafa was born after 35 hours of labor during what would have been the baby shower! He was a bit early as he’d only spent 35 weeks in the oven but in Gonzalez-Smith fashion, he wanted to make things interesting. Although I have been discharged since Sunday, Tim and I are staying at the hospital while Rafa gains his strength and stability in the NICU from preterm issues.
