Please save the date for an all staff meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2 – 4 p.m., in the Moss Auditorium of the College of Medicine Research Building, 909 S. Wolcott.

During the first two weeks of the fall semester, there will be a temporary information desk in the Daley Library lobby to help new and returning users with questions and directions and to provide information about all of the resources and services that the library offers.
The desk will be in place Aug. 25 – Sept. 5, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (except for Sept. 1, Labor Day).
The Library is seeking employee volunteers to staff the desk for one hour shifts throughout the two weeks. Volunteers may be from any and all Daley Library departments. Information and a brief training will be provided for all volunteers prior to their shift.
If you are able and willing to take one shift or more, please indicate your availability and preference via the following poll: http://doodle.com/86b9sea7zuswt6mp
Please complete the poll by the end of the day on Monday, Aug. 18.
If you wish to volunteer, please check with your supervisor and department head to make sure there is adequate coverage within your own unit at that time.
Volunteers will be contacted for schedule confirmation by the week of Aug. 18. Questions? E-mail Linda Naru.
Thank you for your help!
