Dorsch selected as MLA Fellow

Jo Dorsch has been selected as a Fellow of the Medical Library Association by MLA’s Board of Directors. Fellowship in MLA is one of the association’s highest honors and recognizes individuals for “sustained and outstanding contributions to health sciences librarianship and to the advancement of the purposes of MLA.”

Jo will be honored at the awards luncheon at the 2013 annual meeting in Boston, MA, scheduled for Monday, May 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Jo Dorsch is a recognized expert on the teaching of evidence-based practice and a champion of information services for rural health professionals. Jo has served as an example and mentor for an entire generation of health sciences librarians over her 28 years in the profession.
