Daley Library Disabilities Services and Assistive Technology training scheduled

As part of the University Library’s commitment to providing barrier-free access to our collections and services, staff training on the essentials of Daley Library Disabilities Services and Assistive Technology will be offered in several drop-in sessions the weeks of December 10 and 17 at Daley Library.

No registration is necessary but attendance will be taken.

While this training is most crucial to those members of staff who have frequent contact with library patrons, all Daley staff members are strongly encouraged to attend.

Resident librarians appointed

The UIC Library Academic Resident program has resumed, coordinated by Annie Ford.  Three Residents begin their appointments in January:

Isabel Gonzalez accepted the position of Visiting Instructor & Academic Resident Librarian in Reference effective January 2, 2013.

Kathryn (Kate) Flynn accepted the position of Visiting Instructor & Academic Resident Librarian in Digital Programs effective January 2, 2013.

Annie Pho accepted the position of Visiting Instructor & Academic Resident Librarian in Reference effective January 2, 2013.
